The Tiger Pearl shell in this watch has an extraordinary amount of color and refraction. Pink, purple, blue, green and gold ripple across the surface, shifting as the watch moves and the light strikes it from a different angle. At times it looks almost like colorful foil that has been swirled, crumpled, smoothed back out and captured beneath the crystal. For all that movement, the colors have an appealing softness. Paired with the clean lines of a gold rectangular case and easy-to-read numerals, the result is striking without being overpowering. There’s a little bit of wonder in watching Kaleidoscope come to life. A photograph can capture its colors, but the real magic happens in motion, as the light moves through the natural shell and the dial shifts from one beautiful combination of color to the next. Dial Composition The dial is handcrafted from Tiger Pearl shell tinted a translucent light blue. Beneath that color is the shell's natural crystalline structure, which reflects and refracts light through microscopic layers. As the angle of the watch changes, so does the path of the light through those layers. Pink, purple, blue, green and gold appear across the surface, sometimes glowing softly and sometimes flashing with surprising intensity. No printing or painted pattern creates the effect. The movement and variation come from the shell itself. Because Tiger Pearl is a natural material, every piece has its own pattern, color distribution and optical character. Each Kaleidoscope dial will be naturally one of a kind. Case size: Gold-Plated Rectangular Band size: 20mm Swiss Quartz
