Islander Dual-Time Automatic Dive Watch with AR Double Dome Sapphire Crystal, and Luminous Ceramic Bezel Insert #ISL-31 This new Islander ISL-31 watch is a revised version of the ISL-12 diver. Due to your feedback, the 45mm case now has a brushed and polished finish. Thickness is 16.5mm and tip to tip it is a very wearable 47mm (i.e. the watch does not wear big on your wrist). The watch has a 200 meter water resistance rating. Inside the case is an NH36, 24-jewel automatic movement with 21,600 vibrations per hour. This self-winding movement supports hand winding and hacks (seconds hand stops when you pull out the crown). Power reserve is about 41 hours fully wound. The NH36 also has both a day and date wheel viewed at 3:00 on the dial.The vibrant blue dial has SuperLuminova on the hands and hour makers and the Island Watch logo is luminous under 12:00. The 120-click uni-directional coin-edge bezel has a scratch-resistant black (dual time marked) ceramic insert that is also treated with SuperLuminova for a maximum glow-in-the-dark experience in the dark. It is quite bright and long lasting with a good charge of bright light or sunshine. An LED flashlight with charge it very quickly. The blue dial has enhanced visibility due to the use of an anti-reflective double-domed sapphire crystal that also guards against scratches. The anti-reflective coating is on the underside of the sapphire and it show a bluish hue at some viewing angles. Again, due to customer feedback, the new ISL-31 watch comes with a all solid link stainless steel bracelet that matches the brushed and polished case. It also features a robust milled scissor push-button deployant clasp with three position micro-adjustments. Note that the lug ends are drilled for easier strap or bracelet changes. NOTE: The Islander dive and dual-time watch is compatible with aftermarket parts available at Island Watch (and elsewhere) for turtle models, such as crystals, bezels, inserts, chapter rings, dials, hands, bracelets, etc.
