The Submarine Canyon marks an evolution of the DUET philosophy. Reduced to a unified colour tone, the warm enamel and engraved silver base form the two voices of the duet. Where colour divisions fall away, the quiet cadence of light and shadow takes their place. The smooth enamel and textured engraving — one still, one dynamic — resonate in silent harmony as light shifts across the dial. This is the purest expression of the DUET ethos, distilled to its minimalist essence. Hand Engraving Artisans hand-engrave mountainous textures into a flat silver base, one precise cut at a time. The handcrafted process carries inherent variation, causing the texture to shift with every viewing angle. Head-on, it reveals a mountainous grain; from the side, a radiating sunburst; under dynamic lighting, an unexpected lightning-like pattern emerges. This is the defining allure of handcraftsmanship, unlocking new expressive potential for the enamel finish. Hand-Brushed Finish As the visual focal point of the DUET, the silver ring is hand-brushed repeatedly to achieve a delicate, fine-grained surface. This refined metallic texture adds layered detail to the piece, while creating a striking contrast with the enamel’s signature glossy luminosity. Indices Design Crisply printed onto the brushed silver ring, the precisely aligned markers carry a refined architectural sensibility. Roman numerals and the outer circular index ring exude understated elegance, with minute markers seamlessly integrated into the track to distill intricate marker detailing into clean, minimalist order. Case The DUET is housed in a 36mm/38m/40mm case with an elegantly refined profile. Evoking the structural aesthetics of classical architecture, they support the case with the poised, ordered presence of Roman columns. Its polished concave bezel sits in perfect balance with the enamel dial, accentuating the enamel’s signature lustre. The twisted lugs are gently downturned, their flowing multi-faceted surfaces meticulously polished into soft, fluid curves.
