Project background An explosion is a visual depiction of time — an instant of chaos. It is the embodiment of entropy, a key concept in the laws of thermodynamics which explains that everything goes from order towards disorder ie: that time is directional, that it moves forward. "Chaos is the opposite of Swiss watchmaking, synonymous with perfection and control, and yet they are both representations of time itself. Two sides of the same coin. I thought that contradiction was rather beautiful."
